HA Clusters/HA Echostream
HA Clusters and HA Echostream are high availability software solutions designed
to manage and control the automatic fail-over of:
- applications running on servers that are networked in a client server environment
- servers running special applications in the telecommunications market
- applications running on dedicated boards in real-time or other operating environments
Unlike hardware products, HA Clusters and HA Echostream are software-only solutions
for multiple operating systems and platforms including Linux. Careful design and
implementation eliminate the need for proprietary "black box" data replication
devices and leverages the existing hardware and operating system environment that
is already familiar to the system administrator.
HA Clusters and HA Echostream High Availability Clustering Software is designed
using the latest techniques in high availability technology to prevent false fail-overs
and to have the fastest detection and response time in the industry.
Support for Linux
HA Clusters and HA Echostream have been validated as ServerProven for IBM xSeries
servers running under Caldera Linux, Red Hat Linux, SuSE Linux, and TurboLinux.
Support for IBM pSeries
HA Clusters and HA Echostream comply with the criteria required to be compatible
with AIX, IBM's premier operating system running on all IBM pSeries servers.
