The curb appeal of a home is the first impression a home buyer will have of your property. What catches their eye could determine if they walk-in or simply drive off.

Selling a home requires a different lifestyle.  Normally, it may not matter that your trash cans are visible from the street, windows are dirty and the over grown foliage along the drive way to the door is merely a task that hasn't yet been checked off your to-do list.

Keep in mind, in today's market, you are competing with countless sellers, not to mention numerous foreclosures, HUD homes and short sales that offer prices low enough that home buyers will see past the condition.

Through the Winter, pathways should have snow and ice removed for safety.

Remember, if you're not impressed with the exterior of your home, you cannot expect potential home buyers to be.
